Abby and I have been friends since elementary school. She is one of the most kindhearted people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. After the birth of our first son in 2012, she stopped by our house one night with a homemade casserole (it’s now one of my favorite dishes!) and after I birthed our second son at home in 2014, she organized a group of wonderful ladies to bring us meals for a week. I cried every night at her generosity. We need more people like Abby in the world.

On to the cuteness! Abby took advantage of the Mother’s Day Special to get some updated photos of her little ones, Lucy and Joshua. After our first scheduled date was rained out, we were finally able to find a sunny day to meet at the historic Salomon Farm Park in Fort Wayne. We let the kids wander and explore a little while we chatted about motherhood and attempted to coax a grin from sweet Joshua. He was SO interested in Mother Nature’s beauty surrounding us!
