Mama + Me | Promenade Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana Family Photography

A Mama and Me Mini Session at the gorgeous Promenade Park in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana during the golden hours of morning? Yes, please. Family photography has a special place in my heart.

When Rachel contacted me for a quick Mama and Me Mini Session to send to her husband, Brian, as he was working overseas, I was so thrilled to be able to connect with them again. I had the honor of photographing their intimate and romantic wedding ceremony at the historic Embassy Theatre last winter and I was grateful for the opportunity to catch up with her.

We explored the newly opened Promenade Park and basked in the early morning sunlight as she snuggled with her daughter, Parker, and we chatted about what life has brought to us in the last year. One of the blessings that comes along with being a photographer is the honor of traveling through life with your repeat clients. From engagements to marriages, newborns to high school seniors, watching a family grow and experience life is something I deeply treasure. After all, forging connections and giving people a tangible reminder of these moments in their lives is why I do what I do. It is so important to remember the little moments, like giggling with mama on the Wells Street Bridge one early fall morning.
